List building really doesn't have to be a complicated process, and what was displayed in this post is truly simple and to the point. However, there are some things that need to be discussed when it comes to building a highly responsive list.
For starters, it doesn't have to cost any money to build a list. There are some very simple things that you can do that don't cost any money to build a list of your own. One of these things is to simply comment on blogs just as I am doing here.
However, there is a very simple rule of thumb that you need to follow when commenting on blogs to build your list, and that rule is; make your comments worth while. Don't just say something like, Great post, or I totally agree, and then put a link back to your site. No, This will not work, and you will be considered spamming the blog.
Instead, make your comments worth while. Add value to the blog that you are posting a comment to, and always relate to the post that you're commenting about. After that, then place a link back to your site. That will show the blog owner that you highly respect them and their efforts for creating the blog in the first place.
The other way that you can build a highly responsive list is to simply submit articles to article directories. Believe it or not, these still are a really great and effective way to get traffic to your site and build a highly responsive list for your business.
Still another way to build your list is through offline techniques such as placing business cards around town, or flyers. Both of these offline techniques work quite well and they do provide great results, provided that you place these in the right places where you know a lot of traffic appears on a daily basis.
